go away. Not far from this place was a scientific polar station. Just that day a helicopter landed, it delivered foods, letters and Christmas-cards for members of a polar expedition, and a big beautiful Christmas-tree. Snowy saw that the people took strange boxes out of the helicopter. He decided to slip secretly into the helicopter to fly far-away. But the strange boxes attracted his attention. When the people left the helicopter place, Snowy put his nose into the greatest box. What a miracle! What beauty! There were colored balls, long brilliant icicles, silver snowflakes. Snowy’s plans changed: he decided to hide behind a big snow bank and to wait what will be further. Soon the people went out and began to mount a big green tree, which they named Christmas-tree. They opened the boxes and decorated the Christmas-tree with different colored toys. It was so interesting that Snowy left his hiding-place and came closer. “Can I help you, please?” – he said. The people were surprised and began to laugh and cry: “Little bear cub! Come here! What is your name? Where are your parents? Invite your friends to the New-Year party! Soon the Father Frost comes here and brings presents for everybody!” Snowy was very happy. He called his parents, nearest and dearest and all his friends: the walrus Ben, the seal Teddy, the polar foxes Max and Molly. The party was wonderful. Snowy understood that his mother was right: his house is here.
