A bear cub. Let’s take it for our city zoo.” They take Snowy and sail to Africa. They arrive in Cairo. People take sleeping Snowy to the zoo. When Snowy wakes up, he sees that he is in a cage. He is in panic and thinks, “I don’t want to live in the cage and it’s too hot here! I want to return home!” Snowy lives in the zoo but he is overcome by thoughts about home. He tries to open his cage. One night, he manages to do it! He rushes to a sea port and hides there. Nobody can see him! Then he hears that some people are talking about going to the Arctic. He also sees the ship which is going to the Arctic. Snowy climbs there and hides in the engine room. Next morning, the ship leaves Cairo. Snowy wakes up because of noise in the engine room. He is forced to go to a baggage room. It is too quiet there! He goes to a food room to eat at night. The ship workers think about lost food, but they don’t guess that it is Snowy. One morning, Snowy sees familiar shore. He opens the window, jumps into the water and swims to the ice floe. After that, he finds his parents. They are very happy. “Where were you? We’ve been looking for you everywhere! We felt the miss of you!” says his Mummy. Snowy tells them about his adventures. “I’ll never run away from home any more. I don’t want to be away from home. I’m homesick. I like snowflakes dancing in the air! They are so beautiful! Listen to the snow, Mummy! It’s humming a very funny song. There is no place like home”, says Snowy and hugs his Mummy bear.
