Before I took part in the Expedition through the Arctic, I had lived by a schedule. In the Arctic you lose sense of time. Having 24 hours of sunlight we could start our hiking at what we thought was 3 PM but it was actually 3 AM.
Our entire being was focused on one thing: survival.

Debi entered the tent, and for a few minutes he looked out the small window and saw the bear cub waving his paw.The bear went slowly and soon disappeared. Deby was cared. He realized how he could suffer from the meeting wild animal. This meeting made him learn a lot about the bears and he understood the value of the life and how his life was wonderful.
