I’m going to visit the other countries with the other animals”. “Do you know what country you need?” asks mum. “I’ll go to the smartest animal of the South Pole and ask him to help me”. Grandfather Walrus was dreaming and Snowy began to knock at a door and shout “Wake up! Wake up!” Clever Walrus got up, opened the door and asked “What’s up?” Snowy started crying “I’m tired of this place and I want to leave it as soon as possible”. “Well”, said Walrus. “It will be difficult but you can try. Go home, have some meal and go to bed early. And I will wait for you tomorrow morning”. Snowy did everything in the way Walrus said and next morning stood at Walrus’s door at 5 a.m. “Are you ready?” “Yes”, was the answer. But in reality Snowy was afraid and didn’t want to leave his mother and father alone. Walrus, Snowy, Mummy bear and Daddy bear went to the ocean. A mother was crying, a father was upset and even Walrus was sad. A bear cub chose the biggest ice floe, kissed his parents, thanked Walrus and began his way. Snowy swam three days and three nights. All the time he missed his parents and friends. Suddenly he saw something strange. It was an island. It was unforgettable with its beauty. The bear cub couldn’t believe his eyes. When he landed to the shore he noticed an interesting house and an unknown animal next to it. The animal came to Snowy and asked “Who are you?” “I’m Snowy. I’m from the South Pole. And you?” “My name is Lion. I live on Madagascar Island.” “Nice to meet you!” said the bear cub. “Nice to meet you too!” The lion whistled and another three animals appeared from the bushes. “I’m Zebra!” “I’m Giraffe!” “I’m Hippopotamus!” Everybody was smiling. “Let’s make friends”, said Snowy and all animals agreed shouting together “Yes!” Friends had fun a couple of days. They swam, played, danced, sang different songs and ate tasty tropical fruits. But suddenly Snowy felt ill. It was very hot and the polar bear cub had a headache. He couldn’t stand up, he couldn’t eat, he could do nothing. His Madagascar friends decided to make a boat and take Snowy away to the South Pole. In five days the polar bear cub, Lion, Zebra, Giraffe and Hippopotamus arrived to the coldest point of the World. “It is my home”, said Snowy and ran to Mummy bear and Daddy bear. Parents were glad to see their son at home. They liked his new tropical friends and gave them warm white fur coats. Some days friends had fun together again. But soon Lion, Zebra, Giraffe and Hippopotamus needed to come back to Madagascar because the Arctic was very cold for them. It was very sad, but friends agreed to visit each other every year. So Snowy’s dream came true. He visited new country and met with new animals.
