Snowy`s trip

Snowy is a little polar bear cub. He lives in the northern Arctic with his family. Mummy bear, Daddy bear and Snowy can see ice and snow everywhere every day. They like swimming from ice floe to ice floe and digging holes in snow banks.
One day Snowy says, "I'm tired of this ice and snow. I'm going to live where I can see something quite different."
"But your home is here! Look!
The snowflakes are dancing in the air! They are so beautiful! Listen to the snow! It's humming a very funny song, "scoosh-scoosh, scoosh-scoosh", his mother tells him.
"Nothing can stop me", answers Snowy. "I'm packing my things and ...

He puts on a hat and takes some food and he starts his trip.
He goes and goes and the picture still doesn`t change: there is only snow around. At last he comes to the sea. The sea is big. Snowy sees a penguin on the ice.
“ Hello, penguin. What`s your name?”
“I am Blacky and you?”
“I am Snowy, I want to leave my home and see the world”
“Oh, there is no place like home. It`s so good, so cold and white here, the air is fresh, the water is clean, there are a lot of fish”-Blacky says.
“But I am tired of snow!”
“Ok, but how can you get to the land? It`s so far away”
“I will wait for a ship to take me to the land”-Snowy answers.
He starts waiting. The time flies and the food finishes. There is no ship. Snowy is hungry and he misses his mummy and daddy. “How poor am I!”-he thinks.-“I`d better go home”.
When he comes home, he sees his parents crying.
“Mummy, daddy, I am here! I love you! I don`t want to go away any more!” Snowy runs to his parents and kisses them. Everyone is happy.
This is the end of Snowy`s trip.
This story teaches us that the best place is the place where people love you.
