Snowy is a little polar bear cub. He lives in the northern Arctic with his family. Mummy bear, Daddy bear and Snowy can see ice and snow everywhere every day. They like swimming from ice floe to ice floe and digging holes in snow banks.
One day Snowy says, "I'm tired of this ice and snow. I'm going to live where I can see something quite different."
"But your home is here! Look!
The snowflakes are dancing in the air! They are so beautiful! Listen to the snow! It's humming a very funny song, "scoosh-scoosh, scoosh-scoosh", his mother tells him.

The bear cub got on the way.
It was a long way through snow fields and ice.
After a while Snowy noticed that snow thaws, the sun shines more brightly and it becomes warmer.
There is green grass and big trees.
The bear cub never saw plants before because he lived in a kingdom of eternal winter.
The small traveler liked this kind of nature more and more: bright coloures of summer, wonderful aroma of flowers.
Most of all he liked his meeting with other animals which he had seen only in pictures of books.
Snowy got acquainted with wood inhabitants: wolves, foxes, hares, fibers, hedgehogs and certainly with his cousins – brown bears.
Snowy made friends with a bear cub Mishutka by name. Mishutka is a little brown bear cub.
He lives in the Siberian wood with his family: Mummy bear, Daddy bear and the sister bear Masha by name.
Snowy and Mishutka played hide-and-seek, ran, jumped all days long.
Mishutka taught Snowy to climb trees, to gather mushroom and cedar nuts.
Bear cubs regaled on tasty raspberry and blackberry.
Mishutka taught his polar friend to get honey of wild bees from a tree hollow.
“What tasty ahoney!” says Snowy.
In games summer went away and autumn came.
Brown began to prepare for hibernations. Snowy missed his native places, snow and ice, and he missed mum and the dad more and more.
He decided to come back home. Brown bears gave the bear cub many gifts: crimson jam, a big butt of honey, cedar nuts and dried mushrooms.
Snowy says,” I thank you very much. I invite you to Arctic.
In my home there is a lot of snow and ice.
We ski, skate, play snowballs and make snowmen together with friends.
We see New Year in together with Santa Claus. I will treat you tasty ice-cream.
Good-bye, my friends, good-bye Mishutka”. Snowy went home.
Brown bears visited Arctic, of course, and adventures which occurred to them will be another story.
