Snowy is a little polar bear cub. He lives in the northern Arctic with his family. Mummy bear, Daddy bear and Snowy can see ice and snow everywhere every day. They like swimming from ice floe to ice floe and digging holes in snow banks.
One day Snowy says, "I'm tired of this ice and snow. I'm going to live where I can see something quite different."
"But your home is here! Look!
The snowflakes are dancing in the air! They are so beautiful! Listen to the snow! It's humming a very funny song, "scoosh-scoosh, scoosh-scoosh", his mother tells him.

He thinks, he is even sure, that the wind blows to the South, in direction of Africa. At that time he didn’t realize what he was doing. He was swimming on the ice floe for an hour already and suddenly he understood he was missing his parents so much. He started to cry. He was crying for a long time and when there were no more tears in his body he fell asleep. At night the wind flew in the opposite direction to the North and Snowy was brought to the banks of Antarctica again. When he woke up he didn’t understand at first where he was. He remembered last evening and started to cry again. Suddenly there came hope in his heart. If he is in Africa, why everything is white? Mother told that Africa is bright. His ideas were proved immediately, he saw his father searching him. When they saw each other, they ran to each other and hugged and kissed. From that time Snowy never tells that he is tired of snow and ice. Home sweet home.
